The Pavilion Gardens on Royal Parade had become overgrown and were attracting anti-social and criminal activity.
The Secure Redoubt team has relandscaped, cut back bushes and shrubs to open up the Pavilion Gardens both improving the view and making it a more attractive, safer place to visit.
This work complements the overhaul of The Pavilion café taking place.
In addition, path entrances have been widened for better accessibility, new seating has been provided, exercise equipment installed, minor repairs have been carried out to the Kiosk and the memorial has been moved to a more accessible plot.
CCTV has been installed to view the entire Pavilion Garden.
